JAK & Sweetie LLC is a private company based in San Francisco Bay Area, California and was founded in Summer 2004 by Jenny Permanasari-Kwan. Born and raised in entrepreneurial family, with her creative mind and realized that entrepreneurship is the right path for her, she launched her cosmetic brand currently specializing on quality artificial eyelashes through internet marketing which can be purchased online or through domestic and international retailers.

Since then, the company has grown from offering only a few different of natural style to hundreds  different style of artificial eyelashes ranging from natural, glamour to festive. Her goal is to make her company to be the number one artificial eyelashes brand in the beauty industry offering high quality with hundreds different styles for any occassions at the price that consumers willing to spend.

When wholesale inquiries started coming from prospective resellers, she felt the need to create the brand that consumers will see the quality in there. In Spring 2007, EYEMIMO brand was born with an attractive and eye-catching packaging to justify its exclusive high-end image.

The company continues to grow by adding more products in the beauty & fashion category.

Jenny, a 1999 graduate of San Jose State University, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business - Management Information System.

Her fun journey learning to be an entrepreneur

• In fourth grade, she was trying to sell candy to passerby in front of her house.

• In her senior year in high school, she and a few other students were chosen by the accounting teacher to re-open the co-operative which sell food/snacks which can be purchased by the students during recess time. Jenny did find all the suppliers to get it started and continue to be the key person managing the suppliers and running the co-operative together with her other fellow schoolmates.

• Again in her senior year in high school, Jenny led her two high school girlfriends to join her in seasonal adventure offering restaurant food door to door and have the restaurant cook the food and she and her girlfriends delivered all those food to the buyers on the date that has been promised.

• Not until freshmen year in college, Jenny found herself was very interested reading entrepreneurship magazines instead of teen magazines.
